Dice Rolling

Aspens

Aspens is a quick-playing strategy board game for two players, where you harness the wind and sun and carefully balance growth with expansion to outgrow and outwit your loved ones.

In Aspens, players compete to grow the largest forest on a shared board - having to balance how much they invest in building their "engine" to increase the odds of generating trees on future turns, with the pressure of needing to expand to claim territory and ultimately be crowned the winner.

Players start by seeding and growing a forest space adjacent to each water tile. This is where players determine their initial strategy and appetite for risk. Then play begins.

On your turn, you roll the sun die, and BOTH players generate trees for spaces they have grown tall enough to capture the sun. Then you roll the wind die, determining which directions you can grow outward in. The active player then plants their trees, balancing between growing existing spaces UP with more trees, or expanding OUTWARD from their forests, following the wind. This is the core crux of tough decision making and strategy comes in - balancing future investment with rapid expansion.

Play continues until all spaces are claimed, and the player with the most spaces is crowned the winner!

Aetherspire

The realm of Elementis, once a harmonious balance of earth, air, fire, and water, is now under siege. Elemental Aetherfiends have dispatched waves of invaders to drain our aethercore, the realm's lifeblood, causing chaos to reign. You and your companions must build powerful elemental spires to lure away and defeat these invaders. As each spire grows stronger, it will unleash a devastating resurgence against the Aetherfiends. Can you restore balance before it's too late?

Aetherspire is a cooperative 3D tile placement and tower defense game for 1-4 players.

You and your companions will take on the role of Elementis heroes, working together to mold elemental power into four spires, one of each element: earth, air, fire, and water. A spire is a set of four floor tiles, one on top of another, all of the same element. Each time you complete a spire, that element’s aether fiend is defeated. Once all four aether fiends have been defeated, the heroes share in glorious victory, having restored balance to the realm of Elementis!

However, if the precious aethercore is depleted, or if you take too long to defeat the aether fiends, then the heroes lose the game, and chaos will overtake your world!

Lost Lumina

A certain something filled the air. While energizing the magic crystal in his wand, Orly suddenly felt a change he couldn’t name. Usually this ritual took only seconds before the crystal power kicked in. Not today … it took him minutes to obtain the desired power required to load his wand for the adventurous travel ahead of him. While waiting for the blessing of the crystal power he noticed something dark. Something was lurking in the mist absorbing the essential and much needed crystal power from the crystal fragments orbiting around their world, Amanaar. In light of the immense threat to their habitat, Orly decided to set off on a journey, visiting some of the remarkable creatures of Amanaar in order to seek out the dark power that threatens their very lives. Never in his humble existence would he have imagined that some of his friends would turn against him in a battle for the Lost Lights of Amanaar.

In Lost Lights, two players battle with their party of diverse animalistic characters for control over the Regions of Amanaar. In the beginning each player drafts 10 out of 27 beautifully and individually illustrated cards. On your turn you play a card from your hand and take a number of actions equal to the action point value on the card.

Actions allow you to reinforce your party with new followers or to move your followers between the Areas on the map. In Areas where both parties meet, you’ll battle each other. To resolve battles both of you secretly choose one character card from your hand as a leader in this battle, using their special ability. After the special abilities are resolved, your combined battle strength is added up. If you lose the battle, remove your party from the contested area. If you win you are now the dominant force in that area.

The game ends immediately if one of you has no party members left on the map or if both of you run out of cards. When the game ends you add up your scores for each Area. Whoever achieved the higher score wins.

Martian Dice

Your mission, Martians, is to swoop down on the pathetic denizens of the primitive planet Earth and scoop up as many of the inhabitants as you can manage. We are interested in samples of the chicken, cow, and human populations so that we can determine which of them is actually in charge. The Earthlings might manage to put up a feeble defense, but surely nothing that a small taste of your death rays can't handle. Make Mars proud – be the first Martian to fill your abduction quota!

In Martian Dice, you roll thirteen custom dice in an effort to set aside ("abduct") humans, chickens, and cows. With each roll, you must first set aside any tanks, representing the human military coming to fend off your alien invasion, then you may choose one type of die to set aside as well — one type of earthlings to abduct, or death rays to combat the military. At the end of your turn, if you have at least as many death rays as tanks, then you may abduct the earthlings you've been setting aside. You can't pick any type of Earthling twice in one turn, but if you manage to abduct at least one of each, you'll score a bonus!

With each roll you will ask yourself, do you feel lucky?
