Railways Through Time

Railways Through Time is an expansion for Railways of the World. It requires the pieces, tiles, money, trains, bonds, and rules of the original game, but comes with an innovative board that takes the Railways of the World family in a whole new direction by introducing a third dimension: time.

This rules of this new expansion follow the basic gameplay and pick-up and deliver mechanism of the Railways of the World series but introduce the idea of time travel between different eras.

A similar concept was released as an expansion for Age of Steam, called Age of Steam Expansion: Time Traveler.

Empires: The Age of Discovery - Builder Expansion

An official expansion to Glenn Drover's Empires: The Age of Discovery, the Builder Expansion contains:

1) A NEW SPECIALIST: THE BUILDER
Abilities:
a) When placed on the colonist dock and sent to the New World it will increase the VP's scored for the region: +4 VP/Builder (of any color) for 1st place; +2 VP/Builder for second place. (The idea is that the colony is much more developed with cities and infrastructure).
b) When placed in the Capital Building track, the player pays $5 less.

The Builder may be acquired via new Capital Buildings or when a player places a colonist on the 5th spot (Builder is Free, other specialists cost 5)

2) 20 NEW CAPITAL BUILDINGS
These include some "buildings" that cost zero, but offer a one-time instant effect such as $7, 2 free specialists, and 2 free trade goods. So even if a player is short on cash, a building action is available.

3) A RULES SHEET with the new Builder Rules, Capital Buildings, and even special rules for a historical start (Each Nation has a special ability and one or two Capital Buildings to start the game). The idea is that the Spanish will feel like the Spanish (Conquistadors, etc.), The English will feel like the English, the Dutch like the Dutch, etc.

4) The MINT and OVERPOPULATION will, indeed be a part of the new expansion.

5) Expands the game to 6 players with a Complete set of purple colonists

Power Grid: The Robots

You finally have a new opponent for your Power Grid games: a robot that acts as an additional player. Thanks to his different actions and special abilities he is a strong opponent. You will manage the robot's "decisions" and can use him to act against the other opponent(s).

With this expansion, Power Grid is an exciting and fun experience for two (and more) players!

Power Grid: The Robots is designed especially for two players, but you can use a robot with up to five human players, too. You can even use more than one robot in a game.

The robot consists of five tiles, one tile with rules for each phase (except phase 1 »Determine Player Order« and phase 5 »bureaucracy«) plus a special ability, which the robot uses during the game.

With a total of 30 tiles - six different tiles for each phase - your Power Grid games will never be the same again!

Power Grid: The Robots FAQ has many Frequently Asked Questions which have appeared multiple times in the forum!

Age of Steam Expansion: Time Traveler

Take your Age of Steam experience to the next dimension! Age of Steam: Time Traveler Expansion comes with several new maps that represent not only different locations, but also different times as well, and adds an exciting twist as players travel from one map to another using time portals. Rather than the usual board with one single large map, the game features multiple considerably smaller maps, each representing a different era of time, and together make up the game board. In addition to building routes within a particular smaller map, players will be able to `travel' from one map in time to another map.

Game-play and theme is similar to that of Railways Through Time, the forthcoming expansion for Railways of the World.
